Your wedding day is a day unlike any other. It is a day to lose your self to your partner and yet discover your self there anew with the eyes of love. Let us help you celebrate your special commitment with a cake that is a reflection of you both. Let us sit down together. We will get to know you better and, with your input, design a visual and gustatory delight. In the end, it will be a wedding cake to make your guests and wedding party smile!

Consultation and Tasting

Selecting a design for your wedding cake can be a daunting process, but it need not be so. The trick is putting together a "basket" of meaningful themes, ideas, and images and bringing these with you to the consultation.

We offer consultations and tastings for cakes costing a minimum of $500.

Please schedule your consultation at least 4 months prior to the date of your wedding.

For the tasting you will select three flavors which I will have ready for you when you arrive. These may be from our list, or flavors that you already have in mind.

We will bake three 3 1/2 inch cakes for you to take home and sample. We charge $50 for this, but we will deduct this amount from the balance owed should you decide to go with H Cakes.

Once you have selected a (or flavors, for an extra charge), you will make an appointment with us in order to go over the design of the wedding cake. This is your chance to make it a more personal, meaningful, and memorable part of your special day. Bring along any pictures, fabric swatches, special keepsakes, and other ideas that you may have.

Our team will develop a sketch for your approval. It will be a design that is very much tailored to tell your story--and, therefore, will be a unique creation. We can use another baker's ideas as a springboard, but we do not duplicate designs as a general rule.

Once you are happy with the design, we require a $75 deposit to reserve the date. In addition to the deposit, a 50% down payment is required three months prior to the date of the wedding or event. The total contract price is due one month prior to your reserved date. 

Depending on the nature of your wedding cake (i.e. how elaborate it is, the ingredients, etc.), the price per slice is from $7 to $15.
